"I’ve not had good luck with boy’s haircuts in town… until now! My sons have had at total of 6 hair cuts here - each were consistently good, and we’ve seen 3 different barbers. One remembered my kids! It’s walk-in only, but there’s a little golf return for them to stay busy.! It was a positive experience. Calling ahead to note the wait time is helpful, and they answer the phone quickly. It seems to be an inclusive spot - old men, college students, my elementary age kids, balding men, shaggy styles, military style cut, etc. I only noticed one non-white person, snd he got a great cut and seemed satisfied. I am the only woman I’ve seen there, and after my experiences there, I feel comfortable dropping off a middle school kid there alone- the atmosphere was safe, positive, and more “family friendly “ than I expected so close to campus. I felt the barbers listened to me and to my tween’s preferences and did what we liked. In addition, the barbers made easy conversation with the older men and young adults - not too chatty and not awkward. They were really friendly with my sons and did “dad jokes”. There’s a free parking spot in the UP parking area nearby. They take cards and cash. Before tip, $57 for 3 hair cuts that took 20 mins each, minimum."

"This was the most Covid-19 safe place I've been to since the pandemic started. The owner keeps the doors locked so no one can come in unless they have an appointment. You sign a covid waiver when you're there for contact tracing. You get your temperature checked before entering the door and have to wash your hands when you enter. The pedicure and nail stations are spaced out and only every other statistics used so you can be socially distant. They have face barriers between the technician and the customer at the nail and pedicure stations. The pedicure bowels have disposable plastic liners in them that are thrown away after each client to help keep it sanitary. They are pricey but that's because they only use gel polish which I love! My first experience there was great and I will definitely be back. It's worth every dime to know you're in clean, sanitized,, and Covid safe environment."

"Tiree is very good at what she does. As a male who has worn a ponytail most of his adult life I never know what to say when I do get a haircut. Didn't slow her down at all. Despite my inability to verbalize what I wanted she delivered the perfect haircut. I highly recommend this place!"
