"Went here around 2pm, had fried green tomatoes and boudin egg rolls - delicious. They serve soft drinks in good size styrofoam cups, so no condensation dripping everywhere. Got the catfish fillets and boiled shrimp. The fish was nicely cornmealed (is that a word?) and cooked perfectly, decently meaty too. The shrimp were good size, maybe a little overdone, but I was taking my time so may have kept cooking in front of me. Hush puppies and sweet potato fries were a good accompaniment.. fried cheesecake (see pic) for dessert didn't stand a chance, however the bite on one end was a little doughy."
"This place is actually called the Rolling Rooster. It is in the strip mall. The service was great. Everyone was really friendly. Our food was delicious. I did a happy dance when I ate my pork chop. The rice and gravy was good too. My son loved his bbq wings with some mac and cheese. Our hush puppies were a bit over cooked but the tarter sauce on the side helped with the dryness. I will definitely go back again."
