- "We stayed in room 3 for two nights, our reservation was for 4 nights but given the conditions of the room coupled with poor weather we decided to leave early. If the weather had been nice we may have roughed the additional two days. The dishes in the cabinets were not clean and many had food particles stuck to them. The wall above the shower is falling apart, towel bars are falling off the wall. TV remote control doesn’t work. It’s difficult to reach anyone in the office. The people above us were intolerably loud with screaming kids and slamming doors. The proximity to the beach is nice but it’s so close to the public beach that it’s very crowded. I would not stay here again. At almost $200 per night we definitely expected the room to be nicer."
"The water was perfect temperature for a chilly morning. There was a couple of floating flip-flops, but they got caught in the rocks so they didn't hinder anything. Water was about knee deep, and the rocks on my feet were massaging. Very nice place to stop for free. Highly recommend!"
"Under new management. Newly renovated and very clean rooms, by far the best choice for an extended stay in lake wales. Also the best deal around for the $. Owner was very nice and professional, and keeps the (rif-raf) out.. ??"
