"Got a tour of this rather large (at least in terms of the building) operation as a prospective member of the team. I cannot speak on the service they provide because i did not recieve any work. What i can say is that the staff is friendly and respectful, and by all appearances keep a clean and sanitary workspace. The front of the establishment is not terribly inviting but dont let that discourage you everyone inside will welcome you with a smile"

"This is a progress photo but it's very close to being done (some white was added). I had an amazing experience at Take Heart. Everyone was super nice and patient. Vonell did this piece and he made me feel comfortable, and talked me through the entire thing (although when I needed to throw some headphones on to get through the last bit he wasn't the least offended lol). He made sure the stencils were perfect, consulted other artists as needed, and checked in with me often. It was like hanging out with friends while I was also happening to get a tattoo. This piece was a combining of my indigenous Mexican and Celtic heritages, and fits in perfectly with my other pieces. It was important to me that the tattooist I was working with was putting good energy into the process and Vonell absolutely did. I'd come back here in a heartbeat (not to mention I loved the end piece!)"
