"Great service friendly staff Reasonable prices and convenience at its best."
"Lolo's in Grapevine has fallen off a bit. Not saying the food is not still tasty, but the service is no longer what it had been when it was located in Southlake. Since moving, some of the employees I've run into seem like they really don't want to be there. When I first went after the move, it was obvious proceses weren't in place as it took forever to get my order. Today, calling about placing an order to-go, the lady who answered the phone said , "... call back when we're open at eleven... well, today 11:30." I called the automated message and it said Mon - Thurs they open at 11am, it's like what kind of running a business is that? I ended up going to another establishment. When I was there on a previous visit, it wasn't super busy and I approached the area where the hostess was. I could see she was finishing up on the device and I was letting her complete her task. She gave a quick glance, but gave no greeting that she'd be with me in a moment, just looked down saying nothing for a few minutes before acknowledging my presence. Then she seemed a little bothered I was there. Isn't that her job?
I've been a big fan of Lolo's, as I lived in the Phoenix area for a couple years and have been to all the Lolo's there, plus even the one that used to be in Nebraska, but I've never experienced the lack of hospitable initial customer engagement at any of those establishments (however, I have had bad table service at the Gilbert, AZ location a couple times a while back, where after the second time I hadn't gone back). It really discourages one from wanting to frequent the Grapevine location. Maybe it was just the bad luck of running into bad apples representing Lolo's in a poor manner, but management may want to tighten that up as those employees will run customers off. Who wants to spend their dollars at a place where they feel they're not welcome..."
