"I was delighted to find this active community space right next to the Redford Theatre. It’s filled with comfortable seating and a small stage area where I think people read or do intimate performances for small audiences. Behind the Java shop is a eclectically decorated open area where you can have your drink and snack outdoors. Further back is a room they rent out or host their own special activities like Art for children. I was impressed with the beautifully cafe, cozy seating and the helpful staff, especially the General Manager, Tynisha. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for cool upcoming events like the Black Tattoo Art & Music Expo. Motor City Java House supports its local community. Come support them! I think you’ll feel comfortable and be impressed. I know I was."
