"When I walked in the girl at the front desk had to call the piercers name several times to get her attention as she was completely distracted on her cellphone. I decided to get two piercings done, the whole time the piercer was very short and sarcastic with me. She never told me the size of any of my jewelry and gave me a little sheet with aftercare instructions and sent me on my way. Luckily I have other piercings so I know what to expect and how to take care of them, but if you require any sort of support/guidance do not go here. All they care about is piercing you and sending you on your way."
"I got a helix piercing from Stuart about a month ago. He was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable the whole way through. The shop was clean and the employees were friendly. There were even pictures of dogs on the wall! Stuart helped me with jewelry selection, we worked together to determine the placement of the piercing based on my goals, and then he guided me on a deep breathing exercise in which I'm pretty sure I met God. He executed the piercing quickly and the pain was minimal. He gave me cleaning instructions and told me where I could find an ATM nearby - very much appreciated. After that point, the quality of the piercing is up to the person and how closely we follow the instructions. I followed his instruction to the letter and my piercing is in great shape. I very much look forward to going back to him when I decide to change my jewelry. Royal Oak is no short trip from Wyandotte, but Stuart makes it worth the drive!"
"If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. ITS SO BAD!!! The lines are so shaky and I was sitting as still as a rock. Please do not go here. I was very optimistic at first because he seemed nice enough and was accommodating. Second, I didn’t care whether or not he wore a mask but the dude was sniffling and wiping his nose with his arm the entire time he was tattooing, not once using a tissue or at the very least taking a second to change his gloves. When he said he was done, I immediately called the Uber, and while I was waiting (when I wasn’t even paying attention), he put the tattoo machine right back on my back. When I told him the Uber was here, he said “2 more minutes” but my Uber ended up cancelling the ride and the tattoo artist was the one that ended up getting mad about it. I will be covering this up as soon as I get home. I texted the owner just explaining that I wasn’t happy with it and that this guy messed up my skin. I calmly explained that this guy doesn’t have enough tattoo experience yet not does he know how to be professional and to either fix this or have someone supervise him or at least be in the shop with him otherwise he will continue having bad tattoos tied to his company name and will not have recurring business. Please save your money and go literally anywhere else."
