"I wasn't happy with this salon the last couple of times I went here and ended up finding a new tech else where. The last time I went is what pushed me away for good. When I get my nails done I want to stick with one technician. This last time I went the lady started my nails and then when some young rich looking kids walked in she decided to stop doing my nails and pass me on to someone else so she could do the other girls' nails. That really upset me. The guy she passed me onto acted like he was annoyed every time I tried to strike up conversation with him, and he didn't do a good job at all. He placed the acrylic on unevenly and the paint job (gel) was even more terrible. I had to change my colour option several times because he didn't want to do more than two coats. They have this set of nails with polish on them to choose from and it didn't look the same when he applied the polish on my nails because he didn't want to do enough coats of polish for it to look right. I finally just gave up on the lighter colours I wanted and went with a darker colour that wouldn't need more than two coats to look decent and they still didn't look as good as they should have because he didn't apply the gel polish evenly. I originally decided to try to start being a regular here because the first time I came I believe the owner was the one doing my nails. I can't remember his name but he has a darker skin tone than everyone else and has an amazing personality. He does a good job at applying the nails and acrylic and does good at shaping your nails. He also gives a hand massage after he is done with your nails. He is the only reason I gave this place 3 stars because if it wasn't for him, I would have given it 1 star. If the rest of the nail techs were more like him or if he was the one always doing my nails I would have given them 5 stars. Unfortunately though out of the 4 times I've been here I've only seen him up there one time. Perhaps he should train the rest of the nail techs on how to provide better customer service, how to apply acrylic more evenly and how to shape nails better. I spent $50 plus a $5 tip (because of the horrible service and I don't like to not tip, so he got a low tip) and walked out very disappointed. So today, when it was time for my fill, I decided to find a new salon and I'm very pleased with their work and service. I think I'm going to stick with this other place."
