"Made an appointment on February 24th. I went in and talked directly with Ego (the owner) about the tattoo design I wanted. He set me up with an appointment, March 30th at 1pm. He didn’t ask me what times would be good for me, or what my work schedule was like. The appointment was placed in the computer and he wrote the attached reminder for me. When I showed up, the lady sitting at the desk seemed confused about me having an appointment. Ego was apparently working in his restaurant next door and was “unaware” he had an appointment. They seemed to try to spin it on me, as if I didn’t talk directly to him and someone booked him without his knowledge. I was told he was unavailable and would need to reschedule. I was already forced to take PTO at my job since my schedule wasn’t even considered during the booking. I told them I wasn’t interested in rescheduling and the girl said she “would see what they could do about my deposit.” I was called not even an hour later by the girl and told how Ego was “so sorry” and that if I was still willing, he’d take $100 off my tattoo and he “might” be able to squeeze me in later in the afternoon. Seriously unprofessional behavior. If you can’t hold your appointments, don’t book them. And then you can’t even talk to me yourself about how you screwed me over? I know deposits are meant for when the customer backs out of the appointment, but what happens when the shop owner can’t even keep his appointments? I’d really appreciate the money back that I paid you for a service that you DIDN’T provide. I shouldn’t have to give you money when you can’t even hold the time."

"I had an appointment on my 18th birthday, but around an hour before Wes texted me and notified me that I could come even earlier if I wanted because he had some extra time, which was super nice. I was super nervous but he was nice and helped me get my first tattoo exactly the way I wanted it, and it came out looking super nice. I want to get some more already :)"
