"Great shop, great people. The artists are all talented and have their niches in the art worl and you'll have plenty of styles to choose from. I used to work at this place years ago, and not that it was bad then, it most certainly was not, but they have improved everything, especially the atmosphere. Seems a whole lot calmer and drama free. Steve Poteet is still a great guy, owner and manager of the joint and his artwork is ever so consistent and clean af. So if you're in the greater Burke, Catawba, Caldwell area, this is the top place I would recommend and a tattoo artist and enthusiast."

"Yesterday, my mom, sister and I went to Black Magic and had a fantastic experience with Darren. First off, I called the day before and asked if there was anyway that he could squeeze us in the next day and he didn't even hesitate to say yes! He worked with us when we came in and told him our ideas and was super flexible and had a great attitude. The day of our tattoos my sister went in first. She came back with great tattoos exactly what she wanted and said that Darren was terrific. My mother as next and felt the same way. She learned a lot about him and said he was super nice. Lastly, I went in, same thing he was wonderful! Very professional, the place was super clean and he was kind and chatted with me through my hour long ankle tattoo. I would definitely recommend his work and his shop! Great experience! Can't wait for my next one:)."
