"ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! A million stars! Everyone is so kind and caring. The environment is safe and VERY clean! Barrett is so wonderful and honest with you about everything from design to placement to after care. Her line work is spot on and she has an exceptional eye for detail. The whole shop has a friendly and inviting energy to it and it does not take long to feel welcome. I have the utmost respect for the values this shop has and Barrett and her apprentices are definitely pioneers in this field, because not only are they keeping the rich history of tattooing alive they are pushing the way for new(and especially female) artists to breakthrough. Needless to say, I found a new permanent shop."

"Vicki's professionalism and manners are truly repugnant. I waited for her artwork for over three months, after giving her a deposit, for work that never began. The deposit was made under the conditions of her drawing up a piece of art to work with, based on what I provided prior to my consultation. Instead of working with the images that we agreed upon, I was told to research "new" images that would appease her comfortability. During my visit, she stenciled out the size of my arm, that was way too large. I asked her about it being too large, for clarification, because I am a very tiny human (~100 lbs). She insisted that the size of the stencil was fine for her to work with. After she received her deposit, she insisted that I should look for more suitable images (not drawn up) that she could replicate, because my arm was "too small". She never provided any effort or work, which is truly a shame. She made me do more work to find a suitable size, and find other pictures, to change the conditions of our agreement, but also change the artwork I was looking for; She never had any plans to create the piece of work I was hoping for. Upon multiple attempts on my end of trying to reach her regarding this, I was met with voicemails, and other staff saying that Vicki was unavailable. I was also hung up on multiple occasions. After all of this mess, I reached out to Vicki again, because I wanted to request my deposit back, after all of this mess. Vicki was extremely rude and condescending. She took no consideration that there was a potential lack of communication, and automatically pushed the blame on me. Instead of trying to remedy the issue, she virtually said she didn't care. Her demeanor was disgusting, and documented. She had no interest in resolving this with me. I wouldn't rule out the fact that I'm brown as a reason. After a bunch of back-and-forth, we agreed, and scheduled a time for me to pick up my deposit. Vicki could not be bothered by the professionalism of returning a deposit (for work she didn't even start) on her own. She called me, to make sure I picked up my deposit from the shop, and invited me to come pick it up. Yet, when I arrived, her boyfriend was waiting outside. He handed me a folder of bills stapled to an envelope, ($10 less than what I gave as a deposit) on the sidewalk of the street. He stated that she did not want me to enter "her" shop. Since I'm small, I was not going to get into an argument with a makeshift bodyguard. The least Vicki could have done is give me my deposit back in a professional way: But nope. Her behavior was completely disgusting, let alone unprofessional. It truly is a shame, because of all the clients who've gone to her. That said, I will absolutely be diverting people to another artist. This review may not have an impact on Google, but my personal connections will. I never once received an apology from her, or an explanation of miscommunication. Vicki was just completely unprofessional. Even if she issued an apology (she didn't), the lack of professionalism with her is enough for me to dissuade my people from going to this shop; I can (literally) tattoo myself. I would never want to work with Vicki, ever. Take your tattoo's elsewhere."

"Very satisfied with how my tattoo turned out! This place is amazing! Great staff and environment! I'll definitely be going back to get more especially from Jay Garza! Thank you for taking care of me and doing such an amazing job on my ink! ❤️❤️"
