"A Tattoo Johns Texas Tattoo is the most unprofessional tattoo shop I have been to. I walked in and the thermostat was on 79°, which should’ve been my first red flag. The man working, I’m assuming his name is John, was examining my tattoos that I got done at Spirit House and told me how “unsanitary” their establishment is, meanwhile his pet bird was squawking in the next room. I have only ever gotten compliments and awes on my artwork done at Spirit House. John proceeded to ask me if my tattoos were coverups (none of them are) and told me he would never tattoo someone’s hand because it’s “unprofessional” while staring at my hand tattoo. He then asked where I worked and was saying how I will never get a job anywhere else. Commenting on someone’s outward appearance, especially when that’s his field of work, was extremely uncalled for. When I grabbed my license, John followed me out to my car and when I told him to leave me alone, he left and came back to my car, calling me “love” and “honey.” His comments made me very uncomfortable and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they are looking to get harassed."
"I absolutely love the work I have gotten done by Woody! My first tattoo by him was when I lived in Flint over 10 years ago. I moved to Florida 5 years ago and still make the trip to get tattoos by him. It's worth it when you have a great tattoo artist that you can trust to create quality work and work with your schedule! This appointment was by far the longest appointment and most painful (elbow and half arm tattoo). It was a full days work (around 10 hours) and I have nothing but good things to say. Everything was very clean, positive, fun and accommodating. We took enough breaks to keep us both from getting too sore/stiff. I will always recommend him to my friends and family. The artistry, experience and end result are worth the wait, price and time! ✨ Thanks for everything ?"
"Was a great experience. My husband and I and 2 friends did a walk in. Artist informed us of pros and cons of different placements of the tattoo we were going to get. We all got the same small tattoo and the artist was Jeff and he was attentive to the work he was doing and was making sure they all looked top notch. Was definitely a great way to end our trip. We all traveled out of town for the weekend so it was great to find a shop open on a Sunday that did walk ins. We also bought a painting from the shop as well that looks amazing."
